Booking Terms & Conditions

Bookings

  • A 50% deposit will be required to secure your booking.

  • Full payment is required before arrival, unless otherwise agreed.

  • Check-in is available from 2:00pm on the day of arrival.

  • If you arrive before 2:00pm, your room may not yet be ready. We will do our best to accommodate early arrivals where possible.

  • Check-out is by 11:00am on the day of departure.

  • A minimum stay of 2 nights.

Cancellations

  • If you need to cancel your booking, please notify us as soon as possible.

  • Deposits are refundable up to 14 days before your arrival date.

  • For cancellations made within 14 days of arrival, 50% of the deposit may be retained.

  • For cancellations made within 7 days of arrival, deposits are non-refundable.

  • If Lafone House is required to cancel your booking due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be issued.

Damage

  • Guests are responsible for any damage caused to rooms, furnishings, fixtures, or property during their stay.

  • Any damage or breakages should be reported as soon as possible.

  • Lafone House reserves the right to seek compensation for repairs, replacement, or additional cleaning costs resulting from damage caused by negligence or deliberate misuse.

Respect for Other Guests

  • We kindly ask all guests to be considerate of others staying at Lafone House.

  • Excessive noise, disruptive behaviour, or conduct likely to disturb other guests may result in the booking being terminated without refund.

Smoking

  • Lafone House operates a strict non-smoking policy throughout the building.

  • Smoking is permitted in designated outdoor areas only.

  • Guests are kindly requested not to smoke near doorways, open windows, or any area where smoke may enter the property.

  • Please dispose of cigarette ends responsibly and safely.

Liability

  • While every effort is made to ensure guests have a safe and enjoyable stay, Lafone House accepts no responsibility for loss, theft, damage, or injury occurring on the property unless caused by negligence on the part of the owners or employees.

  • Guests are responsible for ensuring that their personal belongings are adequately insured.
